Year 4-4

Ms. Laurie

Hello and welcome to Year 4-4. My name is Ms. Laurie and this is my 8th year of teaching. I'm from the United States but have previously taught Year 6 here at EMS.

I am happy to be back and am looking forward to getting to know each of my students. I know it will be an exciting new year.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at laurie.branner@emsdoha.net.

KidsMondo Field Trip on Tuesday, April 24

Reminder to give your parents the permission slip given to you today. The permission slip and money (95QR) need to be returned to me by Thursday, April 19. Please bring the exact amount, as I won't have access to give you change.

Library:

Class 4-4 will go to the library each Monday morning. Your child can have a look at the website from home to see all of the books available to them.

End of Day:

Just a reminder that Year 4 students are to be collected from the Primary Cafeteria at the end of the school day. It is important that parents do not enter the classroom without an appointment or wait outside the classroom door, as this is disruptive to lessons and to students' routines. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

A note for parents - We are hosting assembly on Wed Dec. 13. It starts at 12 sharp. No babies, nannies or siblings allowed please, as this is quite strict. You may take your child home straight after assembly from the class.

Students need to practice the song until time is 2:34 and learn the words.

Student Dress: any Qatar national clothing, with Thoub or Tameem Al Majd t-shirt or Qatar flag on the shirt or dresses of white and maroon too!

Cheerleaders: Teya, Faisal, Lana, and Homam will wear their house shirt color; plain please with no pictures, just the house color.

Here is the link for the song! Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support:
